This two-day
professional development, useful to a broad range of teacher leaders and
professional developers, focuses on the importance of professional development
in moving teacher practice forward. New
teachers benefit from being brought together in a meaningful and responsive
group learning experiences, and this workshop helps participants better
understand the fundamental principles of adult learning theory and the
strategies that support those learners. Please note that the focus of this
professional development is beginning teachers; however, it will be useful and
applicable to anyone who works with adult learners.
